Health Canada issues travel notice for Saudi area due to MERS

Health Canada is warning those getting ready to fly overseas to make the annual trip to Mecca about the potential for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS).
Around three-million people from around the world will be attending Hajj — the spiritual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia — between October 13-18.
MERS causes severe respiratory illness, and health officials are still trying to figure out exactly how it’s spread.
