Repairs completed on GO Transit Lakeshore East line

The repairs from Wednesday’s gas leak are now complete and the tracks have been cleared for regular train service, GO Transit said Thursday.
A Metrolinx spokeswoman said construction workers hit a gas line in a GO parking lot near Eglinton Avenue East and Bellamy Road North, east of McCowan Road, around 12:30 p.m.
Passengers who left their cars at the Eglinton GO Station can now access the north parking lot, but only from the west entrance.
The east entrance to the lot will remain closed to allow Enbridge to complete repairs, GO said.
Passengers are asked to use the south lot as the primary parking lot Thursday morning.
