Murray to make announcement Wednesday on Scarborough transit

TORONTO – Scarborough residents could hear more about the subway extension, Wednesday.
Ontario Transportation Minister Glen Murray will be making “an announcement about public transit in Scarborough” at a news conference scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Scarborough Town Centre.
Federal funding has yet to be announced for the project, which would extend the Bloor-Danforth line by three stops.
The estimated cost of the project is pegged at over $2-billion.
