Tahina recall expanded due to salmonella fears

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded a tahina recall due to possible salmonella contamination.
The following tahina products have been recalled:
Clic sesame paste tahina
- 454 g
- Lot #1212/13
- UPC 0 58504 74097 7
Clic sesame paste tahina
- 907 g
- Lot #1212/13
- UPC 0 58504 74095 3
Al Nakhil sesame paste tahina
- 454 g
- Lot #1432/12
- UPC 5 287000 459006
The products was distributed across Canada.
No illnesses have been reported.
The importer, Clic International Inc., of Laval, Que., has voluntarily recalled the affected products from the marketplace.
Consumption of food contaminated with the salmonella bacteria may cause serious and sometimes deadly infections.
