Suspects sought after Ajax McDonald’s robbed at gunpoint

AJAX – Durham Regional Police say two suspects made off with cash after an Ajax McDonald’s restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Friday.
According to police, two men with their faces covered entered the restaurant on Bayly Street West around 3:40 a.m. Friday and jumped over the counter.
Police say one man pointed a gun at staff while the other grabbed an unspecified amount of cash before they both took off to a vehicle waiting nearby.
No one was injured in the robbery.
Police say a search of the area with the force’s K9 team and helicopter did not turn up any suspects.
