Ford brothers criticize media on weekly radio show

The Ford brothers took to the airwaves for the weekly talk show “The City” again this Sunday.
Mayor Rob Ford and his councillor brother Doug continued to criticize the media and they’re getting help from their callers too.
Rob and Doug opened their weekly show by addressing the alleged assault on the mayor at the Taste of Little Italy event.
Someone called into the show and suggested Rob Ford get a security detail, in the wake of the juice-throwing incident Saturday.
Doug Ford said out of that incident, his brother was well received by people in attendance and “The media can’t accept that.”
One caller referred to reporters as bullies, while another named several people for being specifically hard on the mayor.
Both Rob and Doug’s wives called the show Sunday to wish each of them a Happy Father’s Day.
The brother did not address the police raids this past week and reported connections to the alleged video of the mayor smoking drugs.
