TORONTO, Ont. – A body has been pulled from the Humber River Sunday morning, according to police officials.

Police say their marine unit found the body in the Humber River where it meets Old Mill Road.

Old Mill Road is in the Bloor and Jane streets area of the city’s southwest end.

A 33-year-old man was swept away while trying to rescue his dog in the river last Wednesday, but there has been no confirmation that his body was the one found.
