Teens missing on Bruce Peninsula found safe

Fifteen teens from Waterloo Region who went missing on a school hiking trip have been found safe.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the teens were located near a cabin by the Bruce Trail between 5:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m.

The 16-and-17 year olds, who are from St. David Catholic Secondary School in Waterloo, were part of an Algonquin hiking experience.

They became separated from the main group around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
