Female’s body in garbage bag found in Lake Ontario, near Yonge

TORONTO – Toronto police are hoping forensic tests will provide some answers after the body of a female was found in a garbage bag in Lake Ontario, near Yonge Street.
The marine unit located the bag while on patrol Wednesday afternoon.
The bag was spotted in the lake around 30 metres from the foot of Yonge Street at Queen Quay West.
The age of the victim is not yet known.
Toronto police told 680News that while foul play is not confirmed, it is “probable.”
