There are only four shopping days left before Mother’s Day on Sunday.
A new BMO poll shows Canadians plan to spend an average of $107 this year — that’s up 27 per cent from 2012.
Of those polled, a little over two-thirds will give mother a gift, while nearly half will give her a card.
Forty-five of respondents plan to give their mother flowers, while just over a third will take her out for a meal.
Across Canada, Albertans are expected to spend the most on their mother, followed by Ontarians.
Also, men plan to spend more money on Mother’s Day than women.
