Suspect sought in connection with hate crime investigation

TORONTO – Toronto police are searching for a man they say committed a hate crime.
A woman wearing a hijab was walking into a plaza in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East area on April 22 when a man approached her, uttered something, and then allegedly assaulted her.
The man is described as:
- White
- 5’8″
- Thin build
- Thin face
- Dark blond hair
- Was wearing light clothing, blue jeans and white running shoes
