York police accuse man of sexually assaulting sex-trade workers

Investigators with the York police sex-assault unit have arrested a man they allege sexually assaulted several sex-trade workers.

In a press release police say they began their investigation in November, which led to the arrest of a suspect.

Police allege the suspect located women in the sex-trade business through the Internet, and drugged them to unconsciousness before sexually assaulting them.

It’s alleged the victims were photographed or videotaped as the sexual assaults occurred.

Charged with 21 counts of sexual assault and 21 offences related to administering drugs is Allen Chow, 60.

The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information on the case to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
