Toronto man charged after bomb threat made against Jewish community centre, police say

TORONTO, Ont. – A 36-year-old man was charged Friday after Toronto police responded to a report regarding a bomb threat at a Jewish community centre.

Police were called to the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre at 750 Spadina Ave., near Bloor Street West Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.

Police checked the centre and determined there was no threat.

Harold Lee, 36, was arrested and charged with threatening death and mischief regarding interference with property.

He is scheduled to appear at Old City Hall on Tuesday.
