Boy, 13, injured in Brampton home invasion

BRAMPTON, Ont. – A 13-year-old boy sustained minor injuries following a home invasion in Brampton Tuesday night.
Peel region police say a masked male, armed with a knife, gained entry to a residence on Dorking Drive in the Kennedy Road and Bovaird Drive area shortly before 7 p.m.
Police say the boy was home alone at the time of the incident. The victim was taken to hospital by family members. The boy’s injuries were superficial and he is expected to recover.
Police say electronics were taken.
Police are seeking one suspect who fled on foot. No further description of the suspect is available.
