Entire NHL season faces cancellation if no agreement by Nov. 22: report

It’s day 61 of the National Hockey League lockout, and the league is tilting perilously close to having the entire season cancelled.

There are reports that if the NHL and the its players’ association don’t come to an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement by Nov. 22, games through Dec. 15 will be cancelled.

So far, 327 games and the Winter Classic have been cancelled.

There is now a growing feeling that for the second time in seven years an entire NHL season could be cancelled.

After several days of intense talks last week, there hasn’t been an advancement on the lockout situation.
