Man shot outside Fleetwood home

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Investigators with the Surrey RCMP are looking for suspects after a man was shot outside his own home last night.
It happened on 155th Street near 86-B Avenue in Fleetwood.
Police aren’t saying if the shooting is gang or drug-related but are confirming the victim is well-known to them.
The victim was in his 50’s and police say they came outside of his home to check out a noise at around 7:30pm and ran into a group of around five guys and was shot in the gut. He is in serious condition at Royal Columbian Hospital.
The home appears to be equipped with video surveillance but police aren’t saying if they’ve seized any video footage.
