Municipal Affairs Minister Bob Chiarelli is heading to northern Ontario today to visit a town isolated by flooding last month.
The minister says he’ll tour the ongoing repair efforts in Wawa, which was hit by heavy rains that washed out roads and caused creeks and rivers to overflow.
The town declared a state of emergency after damaged roads left surrounding communities completely cut off.
