Several neighbouring homes were evacuated late Thursday night after a large house fire at a home in a residential area in Brampton.
Reports indicate the fire, at a home on Crystalhill Drive, near Castlemore Road and Goreway Drive, was not occupied when the fire started.
There are no reports of injuries and reports suggest the home was a model home that had been on sale for several years.
Damage is extensive and the nearby homes were evacuated due to the heavy smoke.
