Woman injured in Oshawa collision airlifted to hospital

OSHAWA, Ont. – A 24-year-old woman was airlifted to a Toronto hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in a head-on collision in Oshawa on Friday.
The crash occurred on Harmony Road North and Columbus Road East, police told CityNews.
The woman was taken to St. Michael’s Hospital via air ambulance, ORNGE officials said.
Durham Regional Police are investigating.
It is too early to determine whether charges will be laid.
