Metrolinx to hold public meetings on disability travel concerns

TORONTO, Ont. – Metrolinx is hoping to hear from its customers on how to make it easier for people with disabilities to travel around the region.

Starting on Thursday, public meetings will be held in Oakville, Richmond Hill, Pickering and Toronto.

Representatives from GO Transit, Presto and Air Rail Link will be there to hear questions, suggestions and concerns.  

Below is a list of meeting dates and locations:

  • Sept. 13 (7-9 p.m.)
  • -Oakville Town Hall (Oakville and Trafalgar room)
    -1225 Trafalgar Rd.

  • Sept. 20 (7-9 p.m.)
  • -York Region South Service Centre (Training Centre rooms A, B and C)
    -50 High Tech Rd.

  • Sept. 24 (7-9 p.m.)
  • -Pickering Recreation Complex (O’Brien rooms A and B)
    -1867 Valley Farm Rd.

  • Sept. 27 (7-9 p.m.)
  • -Metro Hall, room 308 and 309
    -55 John St.
