Ready Pac fresh cut fruit recalled due to salmonella concerns

OTTAWA – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is monitoring a recall of certain Ready Pac fresh cut fruit products due to possible salmonella contamination.

The Ready Pac products contain pieces of Daniella brand mangoes which were earlier recalled due to potential salmonella contamination.

Ready Pac’s Fruit Tray Bien and Super Fruit Medley products are affected by the recall.

The following Ready Pack brand fruit blends have been recalled:

Product Size UPC
Fruit Tray Bien Fruit Blend 907 g 0 77745 23415 1

Super Fruit Medley Fruit Blend

They were distributed in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan and possibly other parts of Canada.

There’ve been no reported illnesses linked to Ready Pac products, however, several illnesses in Canada and the U.S. have been linked to Daniella mangoes.
