Dog shot dead after attack in east-end

A bullmastiff was shot dead by Toronto police after a man was badly bitten in the city’s east-end.
The man in his mid-50s was bit on his hand and arm at Queen and Leslie streets, police told CityNews. His injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
The dog attacked a responding Emergency Task Force officer and was shot dead by police.
