Body of missing canoeist recovered from Lake Ontario

TORONTO, Ont. – The body of an Ajax man was recovered from Lake Ontario after his canoe capsized in early August.
The body was discovered floating in the lake about a kilometre from the shoreline near the Whitby and Ajax border by a resident, on Saturday.
The body was identified as Moustafa Ahmadi, 26, who went missing after his canoe capsized during the August long weekend.
An autopsy will be conducted in Toronto.
