Police search for suspect after sexual assault near Kipling and Lakeshore

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a 20-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted in the Kipling Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard West area.

Police say it was reported that on July 15 at approximately 12:30 a.m. a male suspect attacked the woman as she was walking along a path in Colonel Samuel Smith Park.

The suspect allegedly pushed her to the ground, held her down and sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect fled the scene on foot

The suspect is described as male, approximately 30 to 40 years, 6′ tall with a muscular build, wearing dark coloured jeans and a dark coloured t-shirt.
