Woman, 23, in critical condition following Vaughan crash

VAUGHAN, Ont. – A 23-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash in York Region.
The crash occurred at around 11 p.m. Thursday at Highway 7 and Centre Street. Two cars travelling in opposite directions on the highway collided.
York police closed Highway 7 in the area for the investigation for about six hours. The road reopened around 5 a.m.
Police continue to investigate. There’s no word yet on whether any charges will be laid.
