Michael Jackson the Immortal World Tour comes to the ACC this weekend

TORONTO, Ont. – The life of the “King of Pop” will be celebrated as the Cirque du Soleil show “Michael Jackson the Immortal World Tour” comes to the Air Canada Centre on Friday and Saturday.

Manager Maxime Charbonneau told 680News this is the biggest show Cirque du Soleil has ever toured.

“The cast is about 65 artists and half of it is dancers and half of it is acrobats. We have a 12 piece band, five members who have played with Michael Jackson in the past. There’s massive video screens behind the band.”

What makes this show so special is that it’s Michael Jackson telling his own story.

“We had access to the original recordings through Sony Music of Michael’s voice so throughout the show it’s Michael singing for you.”

Charbonneau said the show is a celebration of Michael Jackson’s legacy and life.
