Durham police continue abduction investigation after Amber Alert cancelled, children located

DURHAM, Ont. – Durham Regional Police say a child abduction investigation is still underway after two young girls were located in New York State
An Amber Alert was called and then cancelled, after the 12-year-old girl and her 13-year-old sister were believed to have been abducted by their mother.
The two Oshawa girls were located by officials and returned to safety.
Police believe the 46-year-old mother may have been taking the girls to Florida.
