35% of decided voters would support NDP in next federal election: poll

The “orange” wave continues in Canada.

A new poll from Angus Reid found 35 per cent of decided voters and leaners would support the NDP in the next federal election.

Thirty-four per cent of respondents would cast a ballot for the Tories, while 19 per cent would support the Liberals.

But, that all changes if Liberal MP Justin Trudeau was the next leader of the Liberals.

The poll found that with Trudeau at the helm, the Liberals would have a double-digit lead over the Conservatives, with the NDP in third place.
