MPs and senators went on a rolling rampage around Parliament Hill Thursday.
The politicians took part in the ‘2012 Rolling Rampage’ to raise awareness for people with physical disabilities.
It was a one-kilometre wheelchair race on the circular driveway that surrounds parliament’s front lawn.
World class Canadian wheelchair athletes also raced, but they race for 10 kilometres and a $30,000 purse.
The reason behind this event was to allow the politicians to experience the daily difficulties faced by disabled people across the country.
