Woman arrested after allegedly crashing vehicle into another car, fleeing scene in west end

TORONTO, Ont. – A high speed chase that started at Bathurst Street and Dundas Street West ended in a minor collision in the west end, Monday night.

Police told 680News they attempted to stop a car downtown, but it took off. They pursed it but then called off the chase.

Police received numerous calls about a car being driven erratically, including running a red light at Jane Street and Finch Avenue West and colliding with another vehicle and then taking off.

The car was later spotted at Kipling and Finch avenues where officers saw a female driver get out and start to walk away.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested and is facing numerous charges including dangerous driving and fail to remain.
