TORONTO, Ont. – The record-breaking temperatures continue, as Toronto has already soared past the 17.8 degree maximum set back in 1948, Wednesday.
By noon, the temperature at Pearson Airport had reached 19 C and continued to climb throughout the afternoon.
The city is expected to shatter yet another record on Thursday, with a forecast high of 26 C. If that high is reached, it may be the warmest March temperature ever recorded for Toronto.
The week has seen a number of records shattered. Monday’s high of 22.8 surpassed a record set in 2010, while Tuesday’s high of 21 broke a record from 1976.
