Study finds taste affected by music

A new study finds that how we taste food can be affected by the music we listen to.

Oxford University researchers blindfolded 30 people and asked them to sniff various samples including almond, apple and cedar.

Next, they asked the participants to pair the smells with a note played by one of four musical instruments.

The researchers found some associations were made repeatedly by different participants – such as blackberry and piano, and musk with brass.
