Oprah to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Oscar night

Oscar watchers who stick around after the awards will get to see a whole different side of Oprah as the talk show queen does comedy on Jimmy Kimmel’s after-show special.

Winfrey says she’s admired Kimmel for a long time and changed her schedule so she could have some fun with him.

It has been reported that she will take part in a comedy sketch during the “Seventh Annual Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards” show.

Special appearances will also be made by George Clooney, Martin Scorsese, Helen Mirren and other Hollywood A-listers.

Academy Awards host Billy Crystal will also join Kimmel to kick off the post-Oscar show.

Coldplay will end the night with a Hollywood block party performance on Kimmel’s outdoor stage.

In previous years Kimmel’s skits have drawn a slew of famous faces and become online hits.

His 2010 skit “Handsome Men’s Club” starred such big names as Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Matthew McConaughey, Ted Danson, Matt Damon and Ben Afleck and has almost 5-million views on YouTube.
