Two pedestrians struck near Steeles and Yonge

TORONTO, Ont. – Two pedestrians are in hospital after being struck following a multi-vehicle crash in the Steeles Avenue and Yonge Street.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m., Thursday.
Police told 680News, both pedestrians, a man and a woman, believed to be in their 20s, suffered life threatening head injuries.
One of the drivers suffered minor injuries.
Police say the two victims were walking along the sidewalk when the collision took place.
Traffic Services told 680News two parked cars were also damaged in the collision.
