Public Health warns of possible Hepatitis A exposure at Mississauga Harvey’s

Public Health in Peel Region is warning customers of a Mississauga Harvey’s to see a doctor.

Officials say an employee at the Harvey’s location on Erin Mills near Millcreek Drive tested positive for Hepatitis A. Customers who bought food on January 28, 29 or February 4 and 5 may have been exposed.

Officials say the risk of infection is low, but customers are being told to watch for symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, jaundice or dark-coloured urine.

The symptoms may not show up until the end of March.
