Body recovered following house fire in Halton Hills

TORONTO, Ont. – Authorities have recovered a body following a blaze at a home in Halton Hills.
CityNews reports an autopsy is planned to determine if the body is that of a missing elderly man who lived at the home, located on the 8th Line near Wildwood Road in the Town of Halton Hills.
Halton police tell 680News the fire started around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
A passing motorist called authorities and when police and fire crews arrived the home was fully engulfed.
It’s unclear what may have started the blaze.
