Raptors struggle on offence in 97-62 loss to the Sixers

TORONTO, Ont. – The Toronto Raptors struggled to connect from the field in Philadelphia Saturday night, dropping their game against the Sixers 97-62.

The loss dropped the Raptors to 3-5 for the season, with a tough stretch of three straight games upcoming this week.

Andrea Bargnani led the Raptors with 21 points and 11 rebounds, continuing his torrent start to the season.

Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Raptors’ guard Jose Calderon was solid but unspectacular in the game, finishing with seven points and seven assists.

Swingman DeMar DeRozan struggled, only managing a total of eight points.

The Raptors begin a back-to-back-to-back set on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
