Oshawa school to reopen following fire

OSHAWA, Ont. – The fire marshal has given an Oshawa school the all-clear to re-open for students when they head back to class on Monday.
Flames broke out in the gym of R.S. McLaughlin Collegiate in the Stevenson and Rossland Road area on Tuesday. It will be off limits for a while as the clean up and repair continues.
No staff or students were in school at the time because of holiday closures.
