Record LCBO sales over holidays

It appears Ontarians did their best to make Christmas merry this year.

The LCBO took in a record $53 million in the two days before Christmas alone.

As a matter of fact, December 23 continues to be the biggest booze-buying day of the year.

An LCBO spokesperson told the Toronto Star that the LCBO, with its gift cards and wide range of alcoholic selections, makes the ideal place for last-minute shopping.

LCBO and Beer Store locations are expected to be extra busy Friday and Saturday as people stock up their liquor supply for New Year’s Eve.
