Charles, Camilla to visit Canada next year to mark Queen’s 60-year reign

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Canada next year as part of celebrations marking 60 years of the Queen’s rule, Buckingham Palace announced Wednesday.

Prince Charles and Camilla will also visit Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Prince Harry will tour Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

In all, top Royal Family members will be visiting more than a dozens countries where the Queen is head of state. Some will also tour Commonwealth countries.

The palace said one of the biggest trips will be the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.

Dates for the trips have yet to be released.

The Queen turns 86 in April and the Duke of Edinburgh 91 in June. They will be travelling within the United Kingdom for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
