Santa Claus Parade route details

TORONTO, Ont. – “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” will be in Toronto, Sunday, for the 107th annual Santa Claus Parade.

Parade details

The parade gets underway at 12:30 p.m. Below is the parade route:

  • Starts at Bloor and Christie streets
  • Heads down Bloor Street, past the ROM to Avenue Road
  • Turns right on Avenue Road, around Queen’s Park Crescent, and continues down University Avenue
  • Heads east on Wellington Street (which turns into Front)
  • Ends at Front and Jarvis streets, right by St. Lawrence Market

TTC info

  • Parade-goers can access the following TTC stops along the route: Christie, Bathurst, Spadina, St. George, Museum, Queen’s Park, St. Patrick, Osgoode, Queen, and King stations.
  • Streetcar routes — 511 Bathurst, 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King — will run regular routing through breaks in the parade.
  • Children under 12 wearing a red nose can ride to and from the parade for free, courtesy of Emery Village BIA. Red noses will be available outside Eglinton, Kennedy, Finch and Kipling stations, as well as at all major intersections along the parade route. This free service for the children is valid from the start of service on Sunday until 5 p.m.

GO Transit

Extra trains will run along the Lakeshore east and west lines, as well as special train service on the Barrie line.

  • Lakeshore east line: GO will run one extra Toronto-bound train making all stops to Union station departing Oshawa at 10:11 a.m., and one extra homebound train making all stops to Oshawa departing Union at 4:43 p.m.
  • Lakeshore west line: GO will run one extra Toronto-bound train making all stops to Union station departing Aldershot at 10:34 a.m., and one extra homebound train making all stops to Aldershot departing Union at 4:13 p.m.
  • Barrie line: GO will run a special Toronto-bound train making all stops to Union Station departing Barrie south at 9:52 a.m., and one homebound train making all stops to Barrie south departing Union at 4:28 p.m. NOTE: Route 65 Barrie- Bradford GO buses do not serve the East Gwillimbury, King City or Maple, Rutherford on weekends.
