Rogers wins Top Employer award

Rogers Communications Inc. was announced as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2012.
Rogers replied to the news with a statement saying, “This is an exciting achievement that we can all feel great about and should take time to celebrate.”
Mediacorp editors indicated that Rogers head office at 333 Bloor Street East, has easy access to public transit, the features a full suite of onsite amenities, including a fitness centre, rooftop patio, full-service cafeteria and even an onsite Tim Hortons
They mentioned Rogers as a company that helps employees plan and save for retirement with contributions to a defined benefit pension plan.
In addition, Rogers provides share purchase plans and year-end performance bonuses, while employees also receive generous discounts on a wide range of company products, from cell phones to digital television to major league baseball tickets.
They also made mention that the company encourages ongoing employee development through a variety of in-house and online training programs as well as tuition subsidies for courses taken at outside institutions.
