Video game ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ goes on sale Tuesday, and that has some veterans up in arms.
They call the timing insensitive and demeaning considering Friday is Remembrance Day.
The Globe and Mail reports one veterans group is warning members with post-traumatic stress disorder to avoid playing the game because the shooting of soldier characters is so realistic it could trigger a serious response.
‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ made more than half-a-billion dollars and industry analysts predict this sequel will make over a billion dollars in less than six weeks.
