19-year-old man sent to hospital after car accident in Markham

TORONTO – A man is in hospital after a collision in Markham. The accident happened on Saturday around 2 a.m., in a residential area near Woodbine Avenue and 16th Avenue.
York region police told 680News, the driver is a 19-year-old male and was taken to hospital with a broken leg.
The car ended up on it’s front, with it’s rear wheels in the air after hitting several parked cars.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor but are investigating to see if excessive speed is to blame.
