Stranded airline passengers still feeling early winter storm

TORONTO, Ont. – An early season snow storm in New York has left some passengers bound for Toronto stranded at three separate airports.

A Greater Toronto Airport Authority spokesperson confirmed Air Canada cancelled two flights out of New York’s La Guardia Airport which were supposed to arrive late Monday afternoon and evening.

An American Eagle flight is also among the cancellations.

At Newark Airport in New Jersey, Continental Airlines has cancelled two flights due to a ground delay. Passengers are being advised to rebook with their airlines.

People who have plans to travel Monday are told to check ahead with their airline or visit the GTAA website for more information.
