Amazon stirs up tablet market with Kindle Fire

The company that already makes the top-selling Kindle e-reader has ramped it up.

Amazon has introduced a touch-screen colour tablet called Kindle Fire, Wednesday.

The device will not only have access to e-book, but also movies and TV shows as well.

Bloomberg News reported this Amazon tablet will sell for about $199 —  more than half the price of the basic iPad.

It also should be available just in time for the holidays, in early November.
