Daily pill could help fight against multiple sclerosis

There could be a breakthrough in the battle against multiple sclerosis.

Doctors at the University of Alberta have discovered that multiple sclerosis patients have significantly lower levels of chemicals in the brain called neuro-steroids.

They believe it may be possible to boost the level of these chemicals with a daily pill.

Researchers are hopeful this could stop or even reverse the symptoms of multiple sclerosis the research is in the latest issue of Brain magazine.
