Police issue Amber Alert for Kienan Hebert, 3, of Sparwood, B.C.

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The search continues for a three-year-old boy abducted from his home in Sparwood in southeast British Columbia.

An Amber Alert was issued for Kienan Hebert on Wednesday after his parents reported him missing.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said it is also looking for 46-year old Randall Hopley, who isn’t related to Hebert, and may be driving a brown 1987 Toyota Camry, with B-C license plate 098 RAL.

RCMP Corp. Dan Moskaluk said anyone who spots the vehicle should stay away from it and call them.

Moskaluk said Hopley is currently on probation with conditions and had been living in the Sparwood area.

Court records show a Randall Hopley has multiple convictions for crimes in Sparwood, including this past June when he was sentenced to two months in jail and two months of probation for assault.

He was also convicted in 2006 for a break-and-enter in Sparwood, for which he received a conditional sentence of nine months.
