Five arrested after investigation into more than 50 Brampton home break-ins

TORONTO, Ont. – A two month investigation into a string of home break and enters in Brampton has resulted in the arrest of five men.

The investigation began after Peel police noticed an increase in crime in the Kennedy Road and Vodden Street area of Brampton.

More than 50 homes were broken into, and Peel police said nearly $60,000 worth of material was stolen.

Five people, ranging in age from 29-44 years old, are facing numerous property related charges.
