TORONTO, Ont. – City libraries are safe for now.
The Toronto Public Library board voted Tuesday night to defer any decision to make cuts until it’s next meeting in mid-September.
The board wants more information from the KPMG consultants who suggested hours could be reduced and some branches could be closed.
KPMG said the cuts could save $13 million.
